MEET THE TEAM

Tim Kenyon: Director

My first experience of filmmaking was making short stop motion animations of household objects dancing around my living room. After that, the first time I remember wanting to be a Director was watching Harry Potter. Despite my love for the franchise, I found myself thinking about what I would change, what I would do differently if it was up to me. Bye Bye Brian is my third project as Director at university. I feel with each project I have improved and progressed as a Director, learning from my mistakes. Outside of university I have experience as a runner with Passion Pictures, working on an add as part of the ‘Compare the Meerkat’ campaign.

Georgie Karram: Producer

My love of film and tv began when I was in secondary school. I became obsessed with watching shows, specifically dramas when they were on and would never miss it! As i’ve gotten older, i’ve developed a stronger understanding and respect of what goes into a film or tv show to create it. This explains why I am the producer for this short dark comedy. I make things happen and I enjoy the paperwork aspect as well as the production side. A film can’t be made successfully without dedicated time and planning.

Sam Jordan: Screenwriter

My love of film began when my dad ‘somehow unknowingly’ pirated films from his and my mum’s youth. Resulting in me having a passion for rubbery costumes, flimsy plywood sets and acting that wreaks of ham. However, it was during my time at sixth form that I caught the bug to do it as a career. This was when during my free time I would churn out numerous short, shabby and cheap films with the help of my friends. In hindsight, looking back on them, usually results in me cringing so hard that I crinkle up into a ball of paper. However, I still hold them in high regard as they are essential building blocks that have helped me develop my skills on my journey towards my endgame of being a screenwriter.

Dion Schuddeboom: DOP

In 2015 I founded my own company DionVideoProductions, producing video content for companies and organisations. In addition to this, I have a contract as videographer for Creative Conversations at University of Greenwich. Previously I worked as content creator at curious.com, created a total of over 200 minutes of filmmaking tutorial videos. University projects include: Directing a university tv show (production team of 28), short film and music video. DOP for documentary, commercial, short film and music video. My range of experience allows me to work with industry standard equipment, including: RED, ARRI and Black-Magic Cameras. My role as Director of Photography for Bye Bye Brian allows me to utilize my years of experience to create a strong film through visual storytelling and unique camera work.

Madeline Leggett: Editor

Hey, I’m Maddie and the editor for Bye Bye Brian. Editing has been a passion of mine for around five years, which I first discovered whilst studying a media course at school. Before joining the University of Greenwich, I had experience working with adobe softwares such as Premiere pro, Photoshop and After Effects. Since being at Greenwich, I have been the editor for many student projects. Some of these include, an adaption of The Landlady, A Bitter taste, a student music video and a student advert. My editing skills have developed significantly since my time at university. In the summer of 2017, I was also part of an online course where I learnt visual effects.

Amy Kellie: Sound Recordist

Hi, my name’s Amy and I am the production sound mixer for Bye Bye Brian. I will be recording the dialogue on the day to achieve the best quality sound for the editor to work with. My passion for achieving good sound in film started at the end of my first year of university when I realised how many students had forgotten about the importance of sound, leaving their film with a poor quality that distracted from the story on screen. I decided that I never wanted a film that I worked on to have bad sound so I went on to do sound design as my specialist subject and ever since then I have developed my skills as a sound designer.
